Dams

The installation of hydro mechanical equipment on large dams entails the following:

Installation of pipe work ranging from 150NB to 3000NB.
Welding of pipe sections – horizontal and vertical.
Welding of various materials, such as, stainless steel, 3CR12 and mild steel.
Corrosion protection repairs of welded areas.
Installation of sealing faces for maintenance and emergency gates.
Installation of guides for gates and fine screens.
Installation of valves from 250NB to 3000NB – gate valves up to 1000NB, butterfly valves up to 3000NB, sleeve valves up to 1800NB and spherical valves up to 1200NB
Installation of crane rails.
Installation of air and water lines for services in dams.
Hydro pressure testing of installed equipment.
Installation of hand railing and walk ways.

Maintenance on dams:
